Laura is a collector and retriever, repurposing scavenged driftwood alongside vintage lace and crochet founded in her family’s craft heritage to impress the clay with memories and journeys, remembering the topography of well-traversed coastlines, coves and rockpools.

GLASS
NIKI WALKER FUSED GLASS
As a kiln formed glass artist, I’m heavily inspired by lush green landscapes and the organic textures natures has to offer.
As a result, my work encapsulates a magical shimmer and sparkle, along with earthy tones and textures.
I make a variety of pieces from platters and large dishes, to small trinkets and keepsakes. In 2020 I started making cards which hold the kiln formed keepsakes and new sparkling wreaths.
