RACHEL MANDER
Rachel sculpts her Army of Creatures from recycled metal using a plasma cutter and welders. Rachel’s creatures are inquisitive, spontaneous and fearless.
She also paints bold, colourful and approachable paintings on canvas, often using a spray gun or an airbrush as part of her creative process.

RACHEL'S HANDMADE WITH LOVE
Rachel's Handmade with Love is just what it 'says on the tin'. Rachel hand picks her fabrics and materials to create and embroider unique designs of country inspired homeware, soft furnishings and gifts here in North Yorkshire.
Rachel sourced all components as locally as possible and supports other small businesses where she can.
Rachel's husband Bob helps a lot at events making the business a family affair.

RAMBLE & ROSE
Ramble & Rose use a curated selection of Liberty London fabrics to bring you a range of quirky and colourful accessories. From their popular boot laces, hair accessories, and rose choker fabric necklaces to unique men’s braces and a large range of soft scarves. Ramble & Rose are based in Carlisle but trade at events across the north of England and Scotland. Items sold: braces, scarves, earrings, hair accessories, necklaces, shoelaces, bag charms, compact mirrors, dog bows, belts, bags, dog collars & leads. All items are hand made by business owner, Rosie Galloway-Smith.

RISE N DESIGN
Rise n Design is a relatively new business ran by 23-year-old Amy Finch. The business is based upon creating unique artwork and homeware using epoxy resin. Amy has always had a creative eye, for example taking part in art classes through her school and college years. The name ‘Rise n Design’ is an anagram for resin design which is why the name was chosen. Focusing now on creating homeware ranges inspired by the ocean, Amy is now supplying many independent retailers across the UK.

ROBINS AND RAINBOWS
Robins and Rainbows is a crochet designer and maker based in an old woollen mill in Farsley, West Yorkshire.
They are passionate about using a wide range of colours and textures to produce truly original pieces and are very much inspired by the traditional crochet techniques and patterns.
They also produce crochet kits and patterns to help others to discover their creativity.

ROESK
Roesk is a small mother and daughter candle company. They produce soy wax candles, tealights, and wax melts which are available in 10 distinct scent collections. All Roesk’s products are hand poured and packaged in small batches in either Scotland or The Lake District, using the finest natural soy wax, premium fragrance oils and relevant botanicals. Once lit, these products will fill your home with beautiful, luxurious and long-lasting fragrances.

CERAMICS
ROSEMARY FUSED GLASS AND PETES POTS CERAMICS
They like to explore different materials, textures and finishes using glass, metal foils, glazes and exposed clay. They can never predict what will happen in the kiln and sometimes the results can be amazing.
The wonderful scenery around them, which changes drastically with each season, is a constant inspiration.
They enjoy contrasts of form and texture that just might work in glass and ceramics and find working in these media a constant challenge

JEWELLERY
RUBY SPIRIT DESIGNS
Tracy Connell designs handmade jewellery in Yorkshire from salvaged components and vintage ephemera. Passionate about recycling, she loves to repurpose broken or forgotten treasures into something new – many pieces are unique due to the nature of the elements involved. She studied at art college in the 1980s and was a graphic artist and studio manager for many years. She is now found creating jewellery in her garden workshop. Her work is stocked by galleries across the UK

RUTH MAKES JEWELLERY
Ruth Makes Jewellery is the work of Ruth Sutcliffe and Jez Coates. Their jewellery captures a snapshot of characters who live amongst them, both indoors and in the dramatic West Yorkshire Pennine landscape. Humour and a bit of drama can be found in this unique hand sawn or individually sand cast jewellery. It is made from recycled sterling silver and where required is hallmarked at Birmingham Assay Office.

SALTY SEAS
Salty Seas is a range of coastal themed art and design inspired by the Great British seaside. The aim is to evoke those precious memories of building sandcastles, rock pools and paddling in the sea. Every product is original and has been designed and handmade by David himself.

SARAH BUCKETT
Sarah’s joyful, colour-saturated collages are all carefully handmade using vintage
and contemporary magazine paper and personal ephemera. Her process is very
playful, inspired by the close-up beauty of everyday moments and the simplicity of
her materials. Her collages blend nostalgic elements with a clean, contemporary
style and are available as originals, fine art prints and greeting cards. She works
from her home studio in Lancashire.

Since moving to Yorkshire in 2008 Sarah’s work has been inspired by the breath-taking Yorkshire countryside and in particular the colours, textures and silhouettes of trees.

SCORCH WOOD
Andy designs and creates a wide range of brightly coloured toys and themed nursery items working to British Toy Safety Standards, and using sustainably sourced British hardwoods, birch plywood and a small amount of recyclable acrylic. He enjoys using layers of wood to develop three dimensional forms and movement to bring objects to life, and compliments this by adding names through pyrography, laser cut-outs or engraving, which provides the customer with a personalised individual finishing touch.

Combining traditional blacksmithing techniques, modern technology and contemporary design, Charis creates beautiful hand forged items for interiors and gardens which are both robust and surprisingly delicate. She aims to create a work of art that will make you smile each time you see it.

SEA JEWELS
After collecting sea glass along the North East coast.
Katrina completed a silversmith course at Leeds College of Art and Design, and now creates a range of jewellery using her very own ‘sea jewels’.
Her jewellery is designed to showcase the beauty of this special material, she also designs silver items such as hammered bangles and rings.
