Brian Greaves is an artist blacksmith. He designs and creates his unique sculptures on board the canal tug Bronte, which he built in 1992.
Brian combines traditional and modern blacksmithing techniques, and designs and develops his own special tools to work the steel in new and innovative ways. His work has been described as “having the appearance of poured chocolate”; sweeping waves and swooping curves are very much Brian’s trade marks.

Janet is a watercolour artist from West Yorkshire. She draws inspiration from the natural beauty of wild landscapes. Caroline specialises in stoneware ceramics for gardens, Raku-fired pottery, and seasonal decorations that many collect. She also produces fine jewellery and functional stoneware. These make exciting gifts.

Using this centuries-old flame-working technique, she “paints in glass,” blending colours to form miniature seascapes, landscapes, and delicate floral motifs suspended within each bead. Every piece is kiln-annealed for durability and paired with carefully crafted silver elements. Working from her rural Cheshire studio, Carolyn produces unique, wearable designs and supplies her jewellery and beads to galleries, collectors, and makers worldwide.

Chalk Box 37 is a homeware brand founded by Karen Grady on the North Yorkshire Coast. Karen creates bespoke handmade wooden storage boxes, footstools and toy boxes, all hand-painted in a unique paint effect. She also upcycles wine crates to create storage boxes and stools. Each box is upholstered in various patterned and textured fabrics to reflect the surrounding coast and country. Karen also creates unique storage solutions to custom order.

Claire Cerysanne Groves is a mixed-media artist based in Derby. She combines her love of texture, colour and the animal kingdom to create unique, realistic wildlife art that draws you in. Working with oils, canvas, paper, glass, and wood, she produces a wide range of original and printed items that brighten everyday life.

Harriet’s unique felt artworks capture her love for the Yorkshire countryside, in particular the Dales. Her work is inspired by her rural childhood, which she spent exploring, always fascinated by nature.
Her felt artworks are made using sustainable wool and a combination of techniques; wet felting to make her “canvas” base, followed by intricate needle felting to “paint” finer details.
Besides working on her own collections, she teaches workshops to keep this traditional skill alive.

Welcome to the enchanted world of artist Abigail Lagden, a place full of magic and wonder. Abigail creates quirky fabric sculptures and mixed-media pieces using fabric and a fabric hardener. Each unique piece is brimming with texture, enhanced with rich colours and carefully applied shading. Abigail loves all things magical, whimsical, and fantastical, and this influence is clearly evident throughout her work.

Anne Crowther, textile artist at Daisy Florence Design, has returned to her roots as a weaver.
Handwoven in her garden studio and inspired by local landscapes, Anne creates micro collections of scarves and coasters. ‘Yorkshire Mixtures’, ‘Northern Lights’, ‘Horizons’ and ‘Woven Air’ themed textiles sit alongside her ‘Flower Garden’ artworks.
She also makes weaving kits and has a mobile weave studio, encouraging others throughout Yorkshire and beyond to begin their weaving journey.
