ART
CARBON ART BY CERI WOOD
Ceri is a Leeds-based artist who uses pencil to capture Yorkshire landscapes in a unique and striking style. She works small and precisely with a sharp 2B pencil creating drawings that are confidently understated in size but are filled with detail and depth. Her work demonstrates that pencil is more than just a starting point for a sketch, but is an exciting and versatile medium that can be used to create entire pieces of work.

CERAMICS
CAROLINE LEE CERAMICS
Caroline specialises in ceramics for gardens, Raku-fired pottery, Christmas decorations, fine jewellery and functional stoneware. Current work illustrates the exciting effects created by overlapping green glazes over textured, wheel-thrown and hand-built pieces. Her ceramics often have a botanical theme. She designs and uses bespoke tools such as stamps and cutters to create unique pieces.

The hills of the Dales and the stunning coastline all feature in the current pieces. Pen and ink illustrations of the wildlife of Britain, primarily the Yorkshire Dales and Coast have developed into a series of cards, notecards, notebooks and framed prints using mono print, mixed media and flat graphics techniques.

CERAMICS
CARRIE KENDRA CERAMICS
Carrie feels the greatest connection from working with clay through hand building. From delicately durable functional ceramics made of slabs of porcelain white stoneware, hand squeezed handles, and bright contemporary patterns and glazes, to coil built sculptural vessels and forms. She uses a variety of firing methods including post fired reduction raku to produce rich turquoises, metallic rainbows, and aged white crackle glazes that contrast with matt carbon blacks.
