JULIE LIVESEY AT PIP COTTAGE
Julie is a maker of quality baskets and willow sculptures, made with Lancashire/Somerset willow and foraged materials, inspired by Lancashire's rich cultural and natural heritage.
Traditional techniques learnt from renown basket-makers are used to design and make a range of quality baskets that are strong and a pleasure to use.
Sculptures are designed and drawn in pencil and the forms created using willow. Larger sculptures are produced with metal frames for greater strength and durability.

JUNIPER FOREST EMBROIDERY
Juniper Forest Embroidery specialises in art prints and embroidery kits that explore our connection with nature.
The hand embroidery artist is Hannah Crump who achieved a master’s degree before becoming a full-time artist.
The artist is passionate about encouraging others to experience the benefits of hand embroidery themselves.
Last year Hannah was featured on BBC1’s Make It at Market. The episode is available on iPlayer. Series 2, episode 9.

Karen Moore is a Yorkshire based mixed media artist who works with decoupage and acrylic paints on canvas and wood boards. Her style is eclectic, ranging from fantasy to mystical. She enjoys the challenge of going with the flow and seeing where her creativity takes her. Karen loves how her art strikes up conversations and brings people together. She believes art is for everyone to enjoy and likes how it brings about inclusion for all.

Working from her home in Ramsbottom , Karen uses traditional knotting techniques to create a range of modern, decorative and functional pieces for the home and individual. A self-taught macrame creator and weaver, Karen uses recycled cord which has been created from cotton textile waste. The addition of recycled items such as curtain rings, driftwood and hag stones further enhance the sustainability of her products.

I am Laura, owner of Laura Keeler Creative Studio, a print and textile designer based in the Lune
Valley. My designs for homeware and outdoor adventure kit are rooted in the rhythms of music, wild
family adventures, and the dramatic landscapes of the Lake District. Each piece carries an energy of
movement and belonging, reflecting the layered textures of hills, skies, and memories. I create to
connect people to place, sparking joy in the everyday and the extraordinary.

Catherine is a potter based in Skipton. She enjoys making unique pieces that combine whimsy with functionality.Using high-fired stoneware clay means that fired items can be safely used to adorn your garden and home.
She is is interested in the textural possibilities of clay and is happy working with a limited colour palette or in monochrome. She often decorates using objects and colours from nature.

Leigh is a mixed media artist working from her studio in Haworth, West Yorkshire. Her work is created from vintage finds, natural inclusions, paper and resin. Many of her pieces are created from vintage items from the textile heritage of Lancashire and Yorkshire alongside typecase trays, tins and wooden boxes – items that have outlived their original purpose and are upcyled to create beautiful, unique pieces of art. Her work is exhibited throughout the UK.

Made using traditional techniques and materials, blended with wild foraged elements and inventive weaves. Her shoulder, hand and storage baskets are adorned with rose hip beads and oak galls, laced with repurposed horse bridle or vintage girl guide belt straps. Each with unique style and functional form, all naturally inspired.
